Variety Cruises, Greece-based Small Ship cruise line announced five brand new itineraries in four destinations for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. New cruise voyages include the Red Sea, Greece and Turkey, and a first time visit the Canary Islands and Madagascar and it’s Mozambique Channel Islands. The Aegean Mosaic Cruise is an eight-day/seven-night cruise from Athens to Istanbul (or the reverse) aboard the 36-cabin mega yacht Variety Voyager, with four sailings in 2015 and nine sailings in 2016. The cruise will travel to Istanbul, Troy, Pergamon, Ephesus, and the Greek islands of Mykonos, Santorini, Patmos, Samos and Arki.
The Canary Islands Discovery Cruise is an eight-day/seven-night cruise that showcases the ten-island archipelago aboard the 25-cabin motor yacht Harmony V, with 14 sailings between December 2015 and March 2016. The itinerary allows guests to explore Gran Canaria, with its capital, Las Palmas, and such cities as Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma or Isla Bonita, Fuerteventura and the small island of La Gomera.
The Madagascar and its Mozambique Channel Islands Cruise is a 10-day/nine-night itinerary highlighting Northwest Madagascar aboard the 21-cabin motor yacht Pegasus. The cruise will visit Diego Suarez Bay, the Ankarana Park and Amber Mountain. The itinerary also includes island hopping to Hara, Mitsio, Komba, Sakatia, Iranji and Nosy Be.
The Red Sea Cruise will debut in 2016 on the 21-cabin Motor Yacht Harmony G, operating two 6 night / 7 day cruise itineraries in the area, the Kings and Pharaohs Cruise and the Splendours of the Red Sea Cruise, two equally fascinating cruise programs showcasing the treasures of the Red Sea and the cultural diversity of Egypt and Jordan. The Kings and Pharaohs Cruise will include visits to Luxor, with stops at the Karnak and Luxor temples; Sharm el Sheikh in the Sinai peninsula (home to St. Catherine’s Monastery atop Mt. Sinai); and pre- and post-cruise tours in Jordan and Cairo. Splendors of the Red Sea Cruise will have extended visits to Aqaba, Jordan and sites like Petra and Wadi Rum, as well as multiple swim stops.
