Eighty-six year old widow Lee Wachtstetter from Florida took her daughter’s advice and sold her house to become a permanent tenant of a luxury cruise ship Crystal Serenity. “My husband introduced me to the world of cruising,” recalls mom Lee. “Over fifty years of marriage we went to 89 cruises, and I, by myself, been on another hundred.” The most interesting cruise was in Asia, as it is quite different from America.
What I miss most is my family, but I regularly call them on the computer and whenever cruise ship docks in Miami, I can see them. “The day before my husband died, he said that I should not stop going on cruises. That’s why I now live in a life fairy tale. ”
It is estimated that this year the life on a cruise ship will cost her around 164,000 US dollars.
