After a few teaser images and video attachments, Ferrari has today released the first official images and details of the new model 488 GTB, which is a replacement for the current model 458 Italia. Ferrari 488 GTB is, however, far more than just a redesigned 458 model. There are new exterior and interior, as well as new sports exhaust system, now with two exhaust pipes, and, most importantly, instead of the 4.5 liter V8 engine, the new 488 GTB has a 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 492 kW / 670Hp at 8000 r / min and 760 Nm of torque at 3000 r / min.
The engine is paired with a modified seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, drive is to the rear wheels, and there are F1-Trac and E-Diff. Acceleration from 0 to 60mph is 3.0 seconds to 125mph is 8.3 seconds, while top speed is 205mph. New Ferrari 488 GTB will have its premiere in early March at the Geneva Motor Show, and a Spider variant will be promoted in September this year, at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
