Born on the grueling Fuji International Speedway, the 2015 Lexus RC F performance sedan is the fastest, most dominant sedan Lexus has ever built. So, no wonder why Dubai Police want it as new patrol car. Lamborghini Aventador, a Bugatti Veyron and a Ferrari FF are already part of Dubai Police’s fleet, and now a 2015 V8-powered Lexus RC F joins them. Finished in the white-and-green color scheme typical of Dubai’s fuzz, the RC F was purchased alongside another Toyota product, a utilitarian Toyota Land Cruiser.
RC F is powered by a 5.0-liter v8 that produces 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque. It can get off the line and hit 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, topping out at 167 mph.
Like other exotic cars from the fleet, this sport coupe will be more used in patrolling the areas around tourist-heavy spots like the Burj Khalifa. These cars are intended more to promote tourism than cracking down on Dubai’s most wanted.
