For Valentine’s Day, Austin’s Iron Cactus Mexican Grill & Margarita Bar is offering a special margarita for Valentine’s Day which will cost you a whopping $30,000. Dubbed the Vision, this fine libation is made with Patrón Platinum Tequila, Grand Marnier Centenaire, fresh lime juice and 100 percent organic agave nectar. You could say, nothing special. But what make this margarita so special and expensive is that it comes garnished with a pair of diamond encrusted earrings – 260 diamonds weighing in at 3.75 carats, to be exact, designed by Austin-based jeweler Zoltan David.
You must agree, it’s a gorgeous piece of jewelry you get to keep as a permanent souvenir of that time you drank thousands of dollars worth of Patrón and juice.
Iron Cactus will donate $6,000 to Cheyanna’s Champion’s for Children, a Texas nonprofit that helps kids with undiagnosed or extremely rare medical conditions, for every $30,000 margarita sold.
The Vision for Valentine’s Margarita is available now through February 14 at Iron Cactus’ three Austin locations. The margarita is also available for purchase without the bling for $75.
