Jaguar design chief Ian Callum and company Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth (CMC) showcased a modified copy of the Jaguar Mk2 last summer, and even then it was announced that due to the great interest of potential buyers will be made in a limited number of copies. In fact, although this car was first introduced as a unique, great interest has forced people from CMC to offer limited edition, and Callum also gave his consent.
Last year was not revealed how many exactly copies will be made, but it is immediately clear that this won’t be a big series. Now it is officially announced that it will be produced only 12 pieces, at a cost of about 350,000 pounds per copy.
After the first copy CMC made for Callum, the second copy is now in production, it has the steering wheel on the left side, and will be completed by the end of this year.
CMC and Callum are otherwise working on this project for 18 months, and the result is a Mk2 who runs a modified 4.3-liter V8 engine from Jaguar.
The new engine is not the only thing that characterizes this Mk2, Among other things, it features 17-inch wheels, modified suspension (the car is lower by 30 mm), two centrally mounted exhaust pipes, air vents in the front wings, different bumpers, power steering, adjustable shock absorbers, Clarion multimedia ICE with touchscreen…
