Just after successfully released all black Lenny Kravitz camera kit, Leica has come out with a similar MP model, but with a distinctly 1960’s design. New M-P Typ 240 Safari edition comes with a silver Summicron 35mm f/2 ASPH lens in silver chrome finish that also has a matching round metal lens hood. In addition to the lens, the kit also comes with a beautiful premium leather strap, as well as a matching leather SD card holder.
Specifications include a Leica MAX 24 MP CMOS Sensor, an integrated imaging circuit with Leica Maestro Image processor, full HD (1080p) video recording and a 3 inch TFT display to name a few.
This M-P Safari kit will actually be a limited edition model – only 1,500 units will be produced. Priced at $9,999, it will be available from Leica stores, Leica Boutiques and Leica Dealers, and should start shipping in late February / early March 2015.
