Valentino presents its new Spring/Summer 2015 MIME Collection in short hypnotic film. The MIME collection is inspired by ancient cultural traditions from Italy – the 18th century Grand Tour, an educational trip taken by cultured young Europeans to explore the art, philosophy and traditions of Italy. A new collection of floral bags and shoes – a creation of Maria Chiuri and Pieraolo Piccioli includes five variants called the Blossom, Leaf, Flower Eyes, Arabesque, and Flower Dot.
Each of these displays a different color scheme and is created with a single print or a patchwork of these prints.
Luxury leather is printed using a cutting edge digital technique, to create luxe a patchwork finish on both the shoe and bag accessories.
