Would you stay in a hotel where robots work? In July, in the Japanese city of Sasebo, will be opened Henn-na Hotel, whose owners are pushing the boundaries of hospitality. As a staff, of this unusual hotel, will be working ten robots that look like humans, with only two people of flesh and blood. Robots will welcome the guests, carry their bags, and even cleaned the room when they leave.
With incredibly realistic woman’s face, they are designed to speak several languages and responding to queries of guests. Robots will come from a company called, Kokoro, which has been developing ‘actroid’ or human-seeking robots, for over a decade. The robots are designed to look like and share the mannerisms as polite young Japanese women.
