Jerry Bruckheimer is looking to sell his Brentwood mansion for $14,5 million. The famous and award-winning film and TV producer and his wife Linda purchased the property in 1985 for $1.865 million. The International-style steel, glass, and wood residence is sited on a wooded three-quarters of an acre and was reportedly designed by Case Study architect Thornton Abell back in 1965. According to the listing, the house features “voluminous high-ceilinged glass enclosed living room, formal dining, library/study, kitchen and breakfast room, media room.
Master suite constitutes its own wing with private garden, double baths, many closets and full gym. Six guest bedrooms with four additional baths. Studio/guesthouse with bath and cooking facilities overlook the pool. Four hearths, atrium, hardwood floors, ponds all enclosed in private, meandering grounds.”
Bruckheimer’s net worth is estimated to be $850 million. He has also accumulated an outsized amount of real estate properties over the years. Properties in his portfolio include a 400-acre ranch in Ojai, a 1,200-acre farm in Kentucky, and the two-acre Harry Cohn estate in Beverly Hills, which Bruckheimer shelled out $23 million for in 2013.
