Armand de Brignac has officialy unveiled its most expensive Champagne called Blanc de Noirs. Although it’s recommended retail price has yet to be confirmed, the new Champagne, which is made from purely Pinot Noir grapes, will sell for around £600-700 ($935-1,090) in the UK according to Armand de Brignac CEO Sebastien Besson. The high price of this Champagne is 50% pricier of the brand’s current high-ranking £300 ($470) bottle of rosé.
The new Champagne is packaged in a pewter bottle and contains a much higher alcohol content compared to the brand’s Brut Gold Champagne.
Blanc de Noirs has been officially released in a limited supply quantity of less than 3,000 bottles.
