Blu Mediterraneo by Acqua di Parma is a line of six fragrances conjuring up the energy, sun and colours of the Italian Mediterranean. The collection includes Arancia di Capri, Mandorlo di Sicilia, Fico di Amalfi, Mirto di Panarea, Bergamotto di Calabria and Ginepro di Sardegna. They recall the lightness of sea breezes, laden with the aromas of wild plants and shrubs, and the glittering spray from the waves.
Each fragrance expresses a unique spirit of place and is based on a different ingredient, symbolic of the Mediterranean’s most isolated and exclusive locations. The glass of the iconic Art Deco bottle is tinged a deep blue to mimic the sparkling transparency of the sea.
Now, Aqua di Parma expands their Blu Mediterraneo collection with a new edition, Cedro di Taormina, dedicated to the spectacular landscapes of Taormina, where the unique and lush nature of Sicily blends with the strength of volcanic rock formations.
Cedro di Taormina is the scent of fire, earth and wind! It is rich in fruity pulp of citruses opening the composition blended with petitgrain and aromatic basil depicting the vibrant landscape of Taormina. The heart incorporates black pepper and lavender which are mixed to contribute to luminosity and spicy shades, perfectly combined with elegant, intense base made of cistus labdanum, vetiver and Virginian cedar.
As previous fragrances, this newest addition comes in two sizes 75ml and 150ml, accompanying by a perfumed shower gel of 200ml. The price is £61 for 75ml, £87 for 150ml and £30 for the shower gel.
