Created specifically for the UK market, the Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport is another example of a special edition that’s hardly any more special than the model it’s based on. In fact, all it seems to do is limit selection – to three colors (black, white or red) and two engine options (gasoline or diesel).
The small car is powered by 1.4 16 valve petrol engine delivering 95bhp. Furthermore, if you are a diesel fan, you can order Mito Turismo Sport with 1.3 JTDM Multijet engine with 95bhp. The diesel variant returns incredible 65.7mpg on combined cycle and still accelerates the car to 100km/h from stand still in 11.6 seconds.
If you order the Sport package you get 16″ alloy wheels, rear spoiler, cruise control, Blue & Me technology, fog lights and a leather steering wheel incorporating audio and phone controls.
The new Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport combines head-turning design, dynamic performance and engineering technology with an additional £1,610 ($2,500) worth of optional equipment – all from just £12,895 ($20,100).
