This year, world’s largest boat show, Paris International Boat Show is scheduled for the 3rd till the 11th Dec 2011 in Paris at Porte de Versailles. Numerous interested visitors will have the opportunity to see products and services relating to the yachting industry from around 1,200 exhibitors and 1,400 brands showcasing their most recent models and gadgets. The event is being organized by Reed Expositions France.
There will be four main exhibitions at this boat show, namely: motor boating, equipment, sailing and tourism. Around 600 motor boats, 500 sailing boats, and 300 various small crafts will be on display this year. Among the numerous exhibits, there will be some prototypes from the major French shipyards such as Jeanneau, Dufour, X Yachts, Allures, Alliaura, Alubat, and J Europe.
Paris Boat Show is also the home for the many brands within the Beneteau Group. The Ancasta Network represents Beneteau Yachts, Lagoon Catamarans, Prestige Luxury Motor Yachts and CNB Yachts all of which are part of Group Beneteau.
Although Paris International Boat Show is heaven for boat lovers, it is also the perfect venue for watersports lovers. You can visit The Spot for activities such as windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, wakerboarding, canoeing, dinghy sailing, and paddle boarding. The Spot will also receive the 100 competitors of the 10km Stand-Up Paddleboard race, a picturesque trip down the Seine which concludes at Porte de Paris on Dec 4. The perfect place for debates, conferences, projections, and shows will be the Scene Nautic. That is also the place for the 1000 Navy sailors, a concert and fashion show in one.
Salon Nautique International de Paris 2011 will have the following exhibitions: Sailing and Tourism (Pavillion 1), Motor boating (Pavillions 2.2 and 4) and Equipments (Pavillion 2.1).
