When you are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, you can do everything. Now, beside their “regular” jobs, designing Jewelry Collection for Asprey, and care of their six kids, famous couple have found enough time to start winemaking business. Their own brand of wine, named after their private estate in France, Chateau Miraval will see the light of day next month, when the first batch of Miraval go on sale.
The Hollywood superstars teamed up with Marc Perrin, veteran Gallic wine family to create glass of their own rosé, made from grapes grown at their vast £35 million Riviera property. They also helped to design the bottle for the first Chateau Miraval product.
Perrin tells, “Brad and Angelina are very friendly, nice people and down to earth. They’re thinking long term. If you knew Brad and Angelina, you would see they are in search of perfection in everything.”
A statement from Brad Pitt, suggests both are excited about their lateral move into wine production. “We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family.”
Following rosé, famous couple along with Perrin, will be releasing a selection of white wines and then move along to reds.
Interestingly, but Jollie and Pitt aren’t the only celebrities who deal with producing wines. Drew Barrymore, director Francis Ford Coppola, and singers Sir Cliff Richard, Dave Matthews, Fergie and Josh Groban are among the world’s star vintners.
