The collaboration between two renowned brands, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin, that lasts since 2004 has resulted in several amazing timepieces. To celebrate eighth anniversary of that partnership, JLC and Aston Martin have launched the AMVOX7 Chronograph. Designed to complement the new Aston Martin Vanquish, the AMVOX7 is the first vertical-trigger chronograph equipped with a radial power-reserve display.
That vertical trigger chronograph was introduced in in 2005 by JLC and works quite simply, by pressing on the crystal face instead of on side-mounted push-buttons. When press at 12 o’clock chronograph mechanism stops or starts, while press at 6 o’clock will resets the timer. Also notable feature of the AMVOX7 is 665 hour power reserve display shows how much charge is left by moving red strips.
Its new 44mm titanium case with a dial motif taken from the grille on the new Vanquish and with extremely refined technical finishes lets you see the intricate 39-jewel mechanism underneath.
Powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre 756 automatic mechanical calibre, and with its frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, AMVOX7 has an impressive profile in terms of robustness, reliability and accuracy.
