Here is the third smartphone collaboration between BlackBerry and Porsche Design. New Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone from BlackBerry combines a unique stylish design from an iconic, timeless brand with the fluid and effortless productivity experience of BlackBerry 10 technology. It features glass-like keys with the durability of rigid synthetic material, and a special 3D effect with silver font characters.
The device integrates premium quality materials such as sapphire glass for the camera lens, forged stainless steel for the Porsche Design floating logo and chassis, and a special glass-weave technology for the back door.
Inside the Porsche Design P’9983 is the same hardware that powers the year-old BlackBerry Q10 including the same dual Core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960, 2100 mAh battery and 720×720 3.1-inch touchscreen. It has 64GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 128GB. The phone comes with a 2100mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
The phone comes in box with a premium stereo headset, an international charging kit, a polishing cloth and a USB cable for high-speed data transfer.
Porsche Design P’9983 will be available from Porsche Design stores, select mobile carriers and retailers around the world by the beginning of October 2014, priced at €1,650 ($2,350).
