The home belongs to a European-Canadian entrepreneur who had fallen in love with France’s Palace of Versailles during regular visits over the past eight years and wanted to bring some of that splendor home.

There is an indoor swimming pool fit for a king and a sprawling piazza with an ornate front gate.
“It’s not for everybody, we do understand that,” the homeowner said. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to find a buyer and at what kind of discount.
