Throwing hat onto a stand is a seductive and slightly swanky and masculine gesture from bygone times. What do you think about table lamp which doubles as a hat stand? That’s exactly what Philippe Starck had in mind when designing his latest lamp for FLOS. Inspired by an irreverent and retro charm reminiscent of a cinematographic images, the Chapo table lamp features style, character and shape which can change depending on the hat that is placed on top of it.
Chapo table lamp provides direct light. It has an aluminum structure with photo-etched diffuser. It boasts “Soft Touch” technology, so users can turn off, on and dim the lamp with the touch of a finger. Also, on the base is USB socket which enables you to recharge the most common smartphones and tablets (max 1.5A).
