Planning on tuning your Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, then you had better check out DMC’s latest tuning package for the beauty on wheels. Called the Quattro Veloce, the mostly carbon fiber kit is available through JamesList.
The tuning kit from the German tuning firm is inspired by the SV version. The package gives the already luxurious car a whole new luxe appeal courtesy the fine quality of DMC’s carbon technology. A limited edition offering, this Quattro Veloce will be restricted to just 40 Lamborghini Murcielago’s. The package includes a redesigned hood and intakes, a new splitter, new side wings, fuel-filler cap, a new rear spoiler, a new rear diffuser.
The interior of the car is also treated with the same respect, and is full of carbon fiber including all-new seats. The car’s engine is covered by a specially developed red carbon cage and it was also upgraded to squeeze more power out of it. After a couple of tweaks the power of the engine was increased by six percent to 670 PS/661 bhp and a maximum torque of 660 Nm.
Thanks to this upgrade and also thanks to the new carbon fiber components that reduced the car’s weight a bit, the DMC Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Quattro Veloce can now accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 213 mph, 8 mph more than the standard LP640.
If you’re far away, the kit and installation is €59,900 ($74,265) including transportation for your Lambo back and forth to Düsseldorf. Add leather treatment, carbon fiber seats and the wheels and you’re looking at €99,000 ($123,820). Should you be capable of installing the package yourself, you can save €20,000. The deliveries of the Lamborghini Murcielago Quattro Veloces are expected to start in July.
