The most popular shopping site, eBay has reported that the most expensive item to be sold on their site in UK, was a Ferrari 430 Spider F1, which went for £70,000 ($110,000). This sports car was introduced at the 2004 Geneva Auto Show in March.
The F430 Spider comes equipped with electronic differential (E-diff) which improves road-holding and traction, even under severe weather and road conditions. The Spider F430 comes outfitted with the steering wheel-mounted rotary switch, so that the driver can adjust the car set-up, easily and quickly. The car features two elliptical air intakes and brand new, bigger rear intakes. The F430 is equipped with Ferrari’s new 4.3 V8 engine which is powerful enough to push the car to a speed of 490 Horsepower.
The car also sports an aluminum bodywork, robust steel roll bars integrated in the windshield, and a sturdy chassis that ensures safety for the occupants. The F430 Spider also boasts of an aluminum transmission casing that encases the 6-speed gearbox. The 6-speed gearbox includes a multicone synchronizer that makes the car more reliable in terms of steering. The F430 Spyder looks super sleek, is compact, and comes with a fully-automatic electric hood. The interior of the F430 Spyder looks chic and sporty and features a new binnacle to houses the instruments.
