Sergio Pininfarina concept was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show, and it seems that has attracted much attention of enough wealthy customers as information emerged that the Italians could produce a limited number of copies of this attractive car.
In honor of the late designer Sergio Pininfarina, the Italian Pininfarina SpA will launched in Qatar Ferrari Sergio designed by Pininfarina in early 2014. Confirmation came from current Chairman, Paolo Pininfarina who confirmed the news that Qatar can expect the Sergio on the streets of Doha by early 2014.
Ferrari Sergio is an innovative and exclusive car, made in honor of the late maestro of Italian style, and it is a two-seat Barket, for which the base was used Ferrari 458 Spider. The body is made of carbon fiber, and vehicle weight is 1280 kg.
The engine is 4.5-liter V8 from the aforementioned Ferrari 458 Spider, the seven-speed sequential gearbox, the wheels are 21 inches, while the boot capacity is only 110 liters. Ferrari Sergio Pininfarina accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 200mph.
Only six stunning models would be marketed worldwide, each with its own peculiar features, setting it apart from the even the rest of its kind, and the price will be about $4.2milion.
