On April 5 and 6, 2013 at Julien’s Auctions Beverly Hills Gallery, wil offer over 800 items from Hollywood including exceptional screen worn wardrobe, props, photographs, jewelry and celebrity owned items.
On auction will be the collection of publicity stills and photographs from over 6000 films from earliest days of Hollywood. The collection includes original key book images, wardrobe test images, promotional and scene stills and images by photographers Clarence Sinclair Bull, Irving Lippman, M.B. Paul, Malcolm Bulloch, A.L. Whitey Schafer, Oliver Sigurdson, Ernest Bacharach, Chronenweth, Christie and many others. This is the first time Julien’s Auctions has presented this collection to the public.
Science Fiction will also take center stage with the sale of William Shatner’s laser rifle from the second pilot episode of the Star Trek televisiob series. It is estimate on $40,000-$60,000. The Green Hornet and his trusty sidekick Kato cruised the streets of Los Angeles in a tricked out 1965 Imperial Crown nicknamed Black Beauty. In the 2011 production of The Green Hornet Columbia pictures built and destroyed a number of these cars during production. The one survive vehicle is estimate to $40,000-$60,000, along with Jay Chou’s five-piece Kato costume which is estimate for $8,000-$10,000 with chauffer cap and facemask.
Bruce Lee collection of items from Lee’s friends and associates including, from Enter the Dragon, the claw used on screen by Lee’s nemesis Han (Estimate: $10,000-$12,000) and other personal items from Lee’s collection will be offered including his nunchaks (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000), books (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000), signed membership card (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000), drawings in Lee’s own hand (Estimate: $2,000-$3,000) and training and publicity photographs (Estimate: $2,000-$3,000).
A selection of items of Marilyn Monroe from her personal life including a brown cocktail dress from Monroe’s personal wardrobe (Estimate: $5,000-$7,000), as well as, personal stationery, signed checks, original photographs and never before seen footage of Monroe on set and behind the scenes of The Misfits. The bra from movie Some Like It Hot is estimate to $8,000-$10,000.
Munchkins hat from Wizard of Oz and modern archive of casting videos of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., Keanu Reeves, Dermot Mulroney, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianne Moore, Helen Hunt, David Arquette, Adrien Brody, Noah Wylie, Ben Affleck, Lisa Kudrow, Ellen DeGeneres, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Patrick Dempsey estimate for $2,000-$4,000, each.
From Gone With the Wind a pair of Clark Gable’s loafers worn for his role as Rhett Butler is estimate to $8,000-$10,000.

DeMille’s 1934 production of Cleopatra (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000); Barbara Stanwyck’s period costume from This is My Affair (Estimate: $1,000-$2,000); and Maureen O’Sullivan’s personal Jane costume from the Tarzan franchise (Estimate: $3,000-$5,000), Mia Farrow owned Salvador Dali signed book (Estimate: $10,000-$20,000), a James Dean signed High School yearbook (Estimate: $2,000-$4,000), a Frank Sinatra original abstract painting (Estimate: $5,000-$7,000), a Superman IV Christopher Reeve special effect flying costume (Estimate: $20,000-$30,000).
