Inspired by the late jazz pianist Bill Evans, designer Luigi Pasqualini has come up with an innovative turntable that looks like a miniature grand piano but plays your vinyl collection like a fiddle. Entitled the Horo WJE168 (WJE168 is Evans’ initials and birth date), the radical turntable employs conventional musical instrument construction techniques to create an incredibly long yet bendy arm that helps in reducing cartridge distortion.
The custom-made turntable is crafted to meet the individual needs of different customers. With prices starting at about €33,000 ($41,000), the Horo WJE168 is sure to burn a big hole in your pocket.
