At fourth annual Automobiles of London auction at Battersea Evolution in London, the Most Famous Car in the World, James Bond’s 1964 Aston Martin DB5 are sold for £2,6 Million ($4,114,760). Although it was expected that one of only two 007 DB5s achieve price significantly more than $5 million, after pulling only a few bids, the star of Goldfinger and Thunderball, alongside Sean Connery, is sold for £900,000 less than pre-sale estimates of £3.5 million.

This is a car that I’ve always wanted, after all it is the most famous car in the world, said Mr. Yeaggy about the purchase of the Bond DB5.
