Now, it seems Jay-Z wants to to retaliate in the same manner, by purchasing £2 million ($3 million) private island in the North Abaco region of The Bahamas. The 31-year-old rapper is planning to buy this private island for his darling as a mark of the their fifth wedding anniversary.
According to UK newspaper The Sun and their source, Jay-Z decided to buy Beyoncé a private island on which to holiday with their daughter Blue Ivy and wants to turn it into his own Necker Island like Richard Branson.
“He’s getting it partly to mark their fifth wedding anniversary but also, with Bey back in the spotlight, it’s getting impossible for them to do normal things such as go to the beach with Blue. A private island means they’ll be able to have quality time with minimum staff and security,” a source said.
