The owner of the former Jordan F1 team, Mr. Eddie Jordan, has decided to sell the two most important car of the former team, and to donate all the obtained money to charity. Eddie Jordan has put up for auction the car 191 which was their first Formula 1 car and 198 in which the team scored their first win in Formula 1 championship.
“These two cars we kept because of their historical value, the memories and what they meant to this team,” said Eddie Jordan. “It is time for us to give up the memories, and the money will be used for charitable purposes,” adds Jordan. Part of the auction will be also a signed helmet by Michael Schumacher which he gifted to Eddie Jordan in gratitude.
All the collected money will be credited to the accounts of CLIC Sargent association for the fight against cancer and Amber Foundation, which helps young people. Cars International company will lead the auction, and they will also offer to the customers a service and maintenance of these cars.
