Tattoo artist Jeronimo Lopez Ramirez, also known as Dr. Lakra has designed Jose Cuervo’s 2011 Edition of Reserva de la Familia Tequila. The Jose Cuervo Company has been named the highest-selling tequila brand for the last 10 years, and in light of its success, it released this limited edition bottles.
Every year since 1995, the Cuervo family has selected a renowned Mexican artist to be featured on the wooden box for its ultra-premium vintage tequila. This year, Dr. Lakra was chosen to adorn the 16th installment of the limited-edition handcrafted collection. Each bottle has been assembled by hand and individually dated, before being dipped in wax and finally packaged in boxes made by carving them out of wood, and finally signed by Dr. Lark`s artwork.
2011 Reserva de la Familia has tequila made from 100% pure blue agave grown in Cuervo region of Mexico, and has a multi faceted flavor of the exclusive agave, floral, vanilla and nuts with a full but mellow taste. The beverage has been preserved in American and French oak barrels which further bring in a unique texture to the Tequila.
