The history of Lake Arrowhead is as rich as the natural surroundings and sparkling lake view. Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is far more than just a picturesque place. It is a state of mind where the ambiance and amenities are merely the gateway to a more majestic experience. High above the frenzied pace of the city, Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is situated at an elevation of 5,106 feet in the San Bernardino National Forest along the shores of picturesque Lake Arrowhead, with plenty of fresh air and clear-blue sky.
This lakeside lodge offers water or forest views from private patios or balconies, an on-site spa, and a warm and comfy atmosphere thanks to the roaring fireplaces everywhere. Rooms have down comforters, granite counter tops, and flat-screen TVs. The on-premises Spa of the Pines offers facials, massages, and other body treatments. BIN189 restaurant, with its granite-and-pine decor and private wine-tasting room, serves up a homey menu of international and American specialties including Provençal Lamb and blackened salmon with citrus aioli.
The Lake Arrowhead Resort can host weddings and receptions for 30 to 300 guests, and has plenty of upscale guest accommodations, too: 162 ultra-contemporary, lodge-style rooms and 11 luxurious suites with balconies or patios.
From boating tours and fishing expeditions to skiing and snowboarding, there’s plenty to do year-round for fun and excitement. Guests also have access to the historic private golf and country club located off of the North Shore of the lake. What started as a 9 Hole carved out of a cow pasture in the 1920’s Lake Arrowhead Golf & Country Club soon became one of the playgrounds of The Rat Pack, Bob Hope, Tony Bennett and many others. In the 1960’s William Bell designed the course and carved out the mountain that created the 18 hole course it is today.
