Omega Architects designed 9.5m Limousine Tender for a 73m mega yacht in Dutch waters in Friesland. Van Oossanen Naval Architects received a contract to carry out the Naval Architecture of a 9.5 m custom limousine tender. This luxury tender, built by Hutting Yachts will serve as a transport yacht to serve the guests from the 73m mothership. This lovely boat features a forward leaning superstructure in the same style as its mothership, which is presently under construction in Ancona, Italy. The helm station is aft of the superstructure under a telescopic roof. The small foredeck gives access to a front mounted passerelle, which slides out of the bow and provides passengers easy and comfortable access to the beach.
The forepeak contains a carbon fibre electric toilet with a hand basin and elegantly hidden in the bow is a self-launching stainless steel anchor and chain. Electric bow thrusters can be used in conjunction with a full fly-by-wire joystick control to provide exceptionally accurate manoeuvring and stability, perfect for crowded marinas.
This limo tender will be launched in October 2014.
