For some, seems really no economic crisis! Hotel and residences Palazzo Versace Dubai branded by the Italian fashion house, has sold 80 percent of its units. This hotel in Dubai is second of the thirteen planned Palazzo Versace. The first one is on Australia’s Gold Coast and it is the only 8-star hotel in the world.
Emirates Sunland Group, a joint venture between the UAE’s Emirates International Holdings and Australian-based Sunland Group Limited, said construction on the luxury property is more than 80 percent complete. This project is worth $626 million. Managing director Soheil Abedian had proposed the idea of a Versace branded hotel to the Sunland Group back in 1997 after having visited the House of Versace.
The Versace-branded resort will include 169 private apartments and 217 hotel suites, decorated with furnishings from the Italian designer’s Home range. The hotel will showcase art, artifacts and antiques and will also encompass reflection pools and fountains, landscaped gardens and grounds with promenades, terraces, and water features and other such structures that reflect luxury and beauty coupled with style and elegance.
Nice to know for someone the economic crisis did not exist. [Palazzo Versace]
