MB&F Arachnophobia – a timepiece that earns its name is giant table clock which tells the time through fear. Actually, thanks to its ingenious mounting system, this clock can also be mounted on the wall. Wherever you place it, this giant spider with long, spiky legs will impress.
Based on the famous Louise Bourgeois sculpture Maman, the clock is powered by L’Epée in-house designed and manufactured movement, beating at 18,000 bph / 2.5Hz with 218 components and 11 jewels, delivering 8 days of power reserve. The body’s black dome and white numerals display the hours and minutes.
Arachnophobia is available in black or 18k yellow gold-plated editions, priced at CHF15,300 ($15,900) for the black version, CHF17,200 ($18,200) for the gold variety.
