MB&F Arachnophobia – a timepiece that earns its name is giant table clock which tells the time through fear. Based on the famous Louise Bourgeois sculpture Maman, the clock is powered by L’Epée in-house designed and manufactured movement, beating at 18,000 bph / 2.5Hz with 218 components and 11 jewels, delivering 8 days of power reserve. The body’s black dome and white numerals display the hours and minutes.
Arachnophobia is available in black or 18k yellow gold-plated editions, priced at CHF15,300 ($15,900) for the black version, CHF17,200 ($18,200) for the gold variety.
