Canadian luxury mobile phone manufacturer Mobiado and British car brand Aston Martin are collaborating to produce a collection of luxury mobile handsets. The two brands will provide their defining elements, in order to deliver appealing and luxurious devices, that will appeal not only to Aston Martin owners, but to other people who take pride in their precious handsets.

Synergy between the two brands provides an ideal opportunity for Aston Martin to enter into the electronics sector, with an exclusive range planned to launch in May 2011 through a range of premium outlets. There are no details about the phones, but the press release shows a pair of Mobiado 105GMT handsets, which feature a pair of automatic mechanical watch movements for displaying two timezones.
