Since its launch in 1924, the Montblanc Meisterstuck has been recognized as the icon of writing culture. Handwriting is one of the most distinctive signs of personality and ink on paper means “liquid thoughts” – especially in times of communication by e-mail or text messages.
To make handwriting even pure personal and unique, Montblanc developed an ink that is linked to each individual as matchless as a fingerprint. Available from Spring 2010, this revolutionary set of writing instruments with the Personal Code Ink will, for the first time, offer luxuriant, handcrafted Montblanc pens imbued with a new, cutting-edge ink to facilitate the manual art of self-expression.
The unique ink was launched recently in Dubai and Montblanc executive vice president for product strategies and development, Jean Marc Pontrue says: Only one person will own this ink – you. Upon the presentation of a document, letter or memento bearing the owner’s handwriting, Montblanc will verify the authenticity of the Personal Code Ink. A forensic test will be conducted to verify whether the Personal Code Ink has been used.

The Montblanc Personal Code Ink edition features an exquisite black wooden box and two exclusive Meisterstuck writing instruments: the Meisterstuck Signature Pen and the Meisterstuck Solitaire Barley Rollerball.
Meisterstuck Signature Pen is an innovative edition of the classic Montblanc Meisterstuck. While the cap is inlaid with Montblanc’s iconic, white star emblem – symbolising the snow-covered summit of Mont Blanc, Meisterstück Signature Pen is also embellished with arresting, gold-plated fittings, including the distinctive Montblanc clip and three rings at its centre.
The rollerball in the Personal Code Ink set – Meisterstuck Solitaire Barley is also an exclusive model. Similar to the Meisterstuck Signature Pen, gold-plated fittings enhance its platinum-hued barrel.The Montblanc emblem is made of mother-of-pearl and the clip is decorated with a brilliant-cut diamond.
