Riding on the success of Nokia N97 mini, world’s top cellphone maker Nokia has unveiled the luxury edition of the smartphone. Nokia N97 Mini Gold Edition is just like the normal version, but with 18-carat gold. If that wasnt enough, it also comes with apps like “ELLE 360Fashion”, which should totally help you keep your Fashion sense updated, to go along with your Bling Bling.
As for the specs, Nokia N97 Mini Gold Edition bundles a 3.2-inch touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard built into its 14.2mm thin frame. It measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2mm. N97 Mini packs 8GB of storage. The 8GB of on board memory can be expanded to 24GB with the addition of a 16GB microSD card. The mini runs on Symbian S60 OS just like its predecessor Nokia N97.
Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, Nokia Maps, 3.5mm headset jack, a 5MP camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash also included. N97 Mini supports up to 12 days standby time and up to 28 hours music playback. It supports video playback up to 210 minutes. Connectivity options include WLAN IEEE 802.11b/g, microUSB connector, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, 3.5mm stereo headphone plug and TV-out support (PAL/NTSC). The phone has Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio, enhanced data rates (EDR) GPS receiver with support for assisted GPS (A-GPS).
If you really want to impress friends with this rare smartphone, you’ll have to look elsewhere because it won’t be sold in the US – although you can import it from either Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa where it should be made available. Finally, you’ll have to dish out €625 (approximately $850) for this one-of-a-kind handset.
