Thirty years ago, Porsche Design created a small revolution in the watch world by launching the first chronograph in titanium. It has now reproduced this legendary model.
The new Heritage P’6530 Titanium Chronograph sees Porsche Design revisiting a milestone in watchmaking – one that is limited to an edition of 911 pieces. The re-issue of this classic is at the same time the first watch in the exclusive new Heritage collection, which will be completed with various models over the years to come.
The new Heritage P6530 remains true to the original and is constructed entirely in shot-blasted titanium, only the diameter of the case has changed to reflect modern trends, it has been increased to a generous 44 mm. Powered by the automatic Swiss ETA caliber Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels, this beautiful chronograph boasts of a 48 hour power reserve. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 60 meters.
Coming in an edition of 911, each Heritage P’6530 Titanium Chronograph will be accompanied by a black wood box, and a certification with the production number. The venerable Swiss watchmaking house of Eterna is the licensee for the production and sale of Porsche Design watches.
