Luxury car companies of the world seem to be finding a lot of lovers in the Middle East. After Maserati and Bentley, its now the turn for Rolls-Royce to makes it strong hold into the desert nations, with themed custom Phantoms to be sold in Abu Dhabi. The cars are based on two different motifs which are inspired by the city’s rich culture and natural landscape.
The four-door version takes its inspiration from the Baynunah region of western Abu Dhabi. The Rolls- Royce Phantom Baynounah model is finished in Milano beige and a Tan interior, with the RR logo in front & rear of the headrests, seat piping, stitching, inner door pockets, steering wheel, and upper part of IP-Top in Dark spice. Dark spice carpet with dark spice Lambswool floor mats complement the interior look. The inlay and marquetry, inspired by the traditional, vibrant colours of an Arabian camel harness, were hand-crafted at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood plant.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Shaheen
On the other hand, second Phantoms in question are inspired by Shaheen – a very famous falcon, best known for its strength and agility, which is used in the Middle Eastern region to accompany men on their hunting trips. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Shaheen model features a marquise-white exterior, accompanied by a twin coach line in Tudor red and offset by a red and Seashell leather interior. All the elements feature a falcon motif, from the falcon inlay in brass, chemically etched from a single piece of stainless steel, to the falcon embroidered head-rests, which encompass 11-thread colours and boast no less than 21,011 stitches per head-rest.
Along with these two special editions for the Abu Dhabi area is the Bespoke Programme. This program is a service offered to Rolls-Royce clients for that allows them to customize their Rolls Royce beyond that of the traditional option list.
