One of last year’s most exciting stories we covered here on Extravaganzi was the superyachts and supercar supercombo from Strand Craft and Gray Design. Without any signs of trepidation, the Swedes are now back with another bold design. Gray Design and Strand Craft have announced the launch of their latest luxury automotive creation, the Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser.
The Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser primarily targets the luxury hotel chains that want to impress their rich clientele with a unique service. Offering the ultimate in beachside transport, the car has been designed to transport the super rich from their luxurious hotel suites or private residences to the beaches in utmost comfort.
The Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser is a four-wheel drive that is powered by a Chevrolet 6.0-liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This power is delivered to all four wheels via a Haldex system, giving maximum traction and performance over sand covered roads. Due to its cruising nature, it has a top speed of only 137 mph, but its 0-60 mph time is blazing fast at 4.5 seconds.
Inside, Gray Design decked the Strand Craft out with the last word in luxury appointments. The upholstery is Alcantara set off with brushed aluminum and chrome accents on the dash and console. Watchmaker Breitling, famed for its relationship with Bentley, handled the instrumentation, while Swarovski Crystal accents take the opulence to obscene levels. In case you need some theme music while trundling along the French Riviera, the Strand Craft Limousine Beach Cruiser comes complete with a Naim 15-speaker stereo system supported by a 1100-watt amplifier. According to Strand Craft, the quality of music will never be compromised even when the canvas roof is fully opened.
