We often read about the connection of watch companies with race cars, so this time we give primacy to TAG Heuer, which is certainly one of them. The aforementioned connections are certainly not accidental, since the cars and watches are one of the things that most attracted the attention of men. Since 2011, TAG Heuer is the official partner of the Monaco Grand Prix, or Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM). This year’s Swiss TAG Heuer unveiled a special edition of its Carrera model, prepared in limited edition and featured with excellent automatic caliber 1887.
The novelty of the Carrera line of watches, created in honor of the Monaco Grand Prix, is the striking print on a black ceramic bezel. Red “racing” color stands out against the black base color that characterizes Cifer, housing and watch belt. Arabic numerals and watch hands have a special “black gold” coating. All these details are under the crystal, and inside is black titanium (Titanium Grade 2) housing diameter 43mm.
Automatically mechanism 1887 runs on 4Hz with operating autonomy to 50h. New TAG Heuer Carrera Monaco Grand Prix will be produced in a limited number of 2500 copies. Specific number of watch is engraved on the sapphire crystal on the back of the chassis (0001/2500). The new model comes on a rubber strap, which from the outside resembles on a trail tires. The recommended retail price of this watch is 5,900CHF($6,500).
