Impression is that the new Arrinera Supercar reminiscent to the models of Lamborghini. The door, exhaust systems, spoilers, lowered front, tail lights have a lot of debt from the Murcielago and Gallardo.
Available as both roadster and coupe, Arrinera is powered by ZR1’s 6.2 -liter 8-cylinder engine tuned to generate staggering 650 hp and 820 Nm of torque. Kevlar composites and carbon fiber, ensuring car’s weight less than 3,000 pounds. The car can accelerate to 62 mph from a standstill in 3.2 seconds and reaching 124 mph only 5.7 seconds later.
Further, the car’s 380 mm disk brakes with 6-piston calipers at the front and 350 mm brake discs with 4-piston calipers at the rear, supported by 19-inch wheels will drag the car to safe and quick halt at higher speeds. Zero to 124 mph then again back to zero will only take a mere 14.3 seconds, which is at par with the performance figures of Ferrrari Enzo.
The interiors also comes equipped with a thermal imaging camera that monitors the area in the front of the car and displays any items of a higher temperature on a central display. Individual elements will be made of high quality leather and composite materials. The car is equipped with an audio system, electric windows and mirrors and air conditioning and 4-point seat belts.
The price starts at $160,060 and the manufacturer hopes to sell in the first year, about 50 pieces.
