The Venetian, Las Vegas will host Ultimo – A Weekend of Excellence, the city’s culinary event of the year, scheduled for Dec. 5-7. This extravagant Ultimo weekend celebrates luxury and fine food. It’s a whole new world of fine jewelry, fast cars, rare liquors, and delicious food by the most celebrated chefs. Celebrity chefs Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse, and Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro will serve as hosts of the weekend that includes lavish feasts of the finest food. Dom Pérignon will flow freely, as will some rare, special wines brought in personally by the winemakers themselves.
Ultimo begins Friday evening with a welcome reception at Bellusso Jewelers, followed by the weekend’s main event: The Grand Banquet.
Hosted in the stunning Grand Colonnade at a 182-seat table designed specifically for this momentous occasion, The Grand Banquet will be an extraordinary dining experience akin to a royal feast. Guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine prepared by celebrity chefs Daniel Boulud and Emeril Lagasse, paired with fine wines presented by renowned sommeliers from around the world, and finished with a decadent dessert by “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro. Live entertainment and a charity auction to benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health will further enhance the celebratory ambiance of this dazzling evening.
For a wonderful begining of Saturday, James Beard Award-wining chef Daniel Boulud will prepare a Champagne brunch for guests in his new restaurant at The Venetian Las Vegas, db Brasserie. Guests will dine on sumptuous French bistro fare with a modern American twist, paired with sparkling beverages from the Moët & Chandon portfolio of Champagne. Daniel Boulud will greet and talk with guests throughout the meal. At the evening Chefs from the most famous restaurants at The Venetian and The Palazzo will come together to present a stunning culinary experience in our Saturday night Dine-Around.
The dinner will feature stations by the resort’s culinary hot spots, including Carnevino by Mario Batali & Joe Bastianich, Buddy V’s Ristorante by Buddy Valastro, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Bouchon by Thomas Keller, Delmonico Steakhouse by Emeril Lagasse and db Brasserie by Daniel Boulud, as well as wine stations presented by expert vintners, serving special vintages carefully selected to complement the exquisite dishes being served. Guests will have an opportunity to talk with the chefs and sommeliers at each station. And for the wonderful end of Saturday Ultimo guests will be invited to an after-party at Paiza, the resort’s private high-end gaming lounge, where rich deserts will be served by Buddy Valastro, and night owls can sip cognac from Hennessy and smoke premium cigars.
The lounge also features table games for an exclusive casino experience.
The weekend will end just as it began – with bubbles, as Dom Pérignon will flow freely in fine accompaniment to Emeril’s fantastic brunch menu at his famous Delmonico Steakhouse, starring in-season truffles, organic farm-fresh eggs and premium beef.
