We have already seen fashion houses like Versace, Calvin Klein and Hermès that showed their skills in dressing up the tables for meal time with their exclusive collection of tableware. Now, one more fashion house Christian Lacroix Maison joins to the list by launching their new collection of porcelain tableware.
To design this range of chinaware, Chrisitan Lacroix Maison’s creative director, Sacha Walckhoff has teamed up with Portuguese brand Vista Alegre.
Vivid tableware collection features four themes: “Sol y Sombra” — with watercolor stripes, “Forum” – engraved with images of 19th century monuments in Arles, “Picassiette” – a Gaudi-style trompe-l’oeil mosaic of shattered plates and “Butterfly parade” – symbolizing real or imaginary butterflies in flight. Each piece of this collection is threaded with intertwined gold and platinum.
Sacha Walckhoff has previously launched several decor collections including a range of textiles, wallpaper and accessories made by Designers Guild, wooden decorative panels created in collaboration with Marotte, a range of stationery produced by Libretto as well as a collection of scented candles for Welton London, but this is brand’s first range of tableware.
