Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts continues its global expansion. This time, Hilton Worldwide’s luxury brand opens its second hotel in Dubai. The 319-room Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is a pristine white pearl surrounded by the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. The hotel features a generous private beach with soft sands, palatial public spaces and luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites of elegantly timeless design.
John T.A. Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands, Hilton Worldwide, said: “Waldorf Astoria’s celebrated lineage combined with the brand’s definition of luxury is enjoyed by discerning global luxury travelers worldwide. The increasing number of international arrivals into Dubai and the growing aspiration of visitors to explore the Emirate’s iconic island has created a demand which we can readily satisfy with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.”
Guests at the hotel will be able to choose from a selection of six restaurants and bars including the New York inspired Social by Heinz Beck eatery by multi-award winning European chef and author Heinz Beck.
The hotel’s other F&B options include Lao’s south-east Asian contemporary dining; Mezzerie, with locally-inspired arabesque dining at its most luxurious; Palm Avenue and Serafina, an authentic and refined Venetian offering. The centrepiece of the hotel is Peacock Alley, named after the famous high-society promenade lounge which connected the original Waldorf and Astoria hotels in New York.
The unparalleled facilities including stylish dining and entertainment venues, sophisticated conference and event facilities and 200 meters of private beach make for a truly unforgettable experience.
