2013 Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) will be the place for world premiere of Verve Outboard by Atlantis, the outboard version of the homonymous elegant and gritty walkaround boat which proved to be perfect to live the sea in great safety and comfort and at the same time capable of giving strong emotions.
The Atlantis Verve Outboard, designed to meet the needs and tastes of the U.S. market, sees a project that has faced a new challenge: to keep all the features of its predecessor in terms of roominess and comfort, but adding the power and performance guaranteed Mercury outboard motors from 3 to 300 hp.
The result is a boat that not only guarantees an optimal internal division of space, but can offer a good habitability in separate cabins,, granting all the advantages offered by the new outboard engine, such as performance easy maneuvering and ease of maintenance.
The main changes to note are the Atlantis Verve Outboard replacing the engine room with a space for the locker and the elimination of the top fiberglass, replaced by a profile windshield flavor even more sporty. As an option, however, a fiberglass hard top that will cover the wheelhouse area and the kitchen can be ordered.
The yacht becomes the perfect complement to the house by the sea. It is a walkaround fast, comfortable, safe for cruises to medium range where the practicality is combined with the convenience and versatile Italian style. The cabin below deck – the boat’s real strength – is still spacious and provides comfort and privacy thanks to the central bed, two walk-in wardrobes and a convenient sliding door. The dinette and bathroom have remained the same too. Verve Outboard Atlantis can boast with sunbathing area aft convertible in area room for 6 people, a privileged access to the sea, a modern suite deck for a 12 meter all adrenaline and glamor.
Of course all the best features of the original Verve have been kept: including the deck layout with a large sunbathing area that can be transformed into a practical table for six people in a flash without having to move the cushions and a small electrically operated awning for shade during the hottest part of the day. The elegant and well-equipped mobile bar (with 100 litre capacity fridge) rounds off the layout of the cockpit together with an outside grill and sink, creating a comfortable, versatile area that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
There is also one of the best-loved accessories, the multimedia centre, with its handy control panel and display located on the aft table/sun deck that controls the whole audio/video system on board. This provides maximum freedom: systems that are independent of each other above and below deck mean you can listen to your favourite playlist as you lie in the sun while the other guests watch a film.
