Steven Spielberg’s New Seven Seas Yacht
Steven Spielberg is offering his new $200 million Seven Seas megayacht as the world’s most expensive yacht charter at an eye-popping rate of $1.3 million per week. The Cayman-Islands registered, oceangoing vessel with the navy hull was built under the project name Y706 in collaboration with the designers Nuvolari & Lenard, Azure Naval Architects and the Wright Maritime Group. Dutch shipyard Oceanco built the Seven Seas to suit the liking of Steven Spielberg.
The 282-ft. vessel, comes rigged with extravagant embellishments: acres of walnut, teak and rosewood interior, a private owner’s deck fitted with a commodious master stateroom, study and private Jacuzzi, accommodation and amenities for 12 guests, with a dedicated crew of 26. The Seven Seas’ most dramatic flourish is a infinity pool with a 15-foot dual-purpose glass screen that will allow loungers and swimmers to watch films by the poolside.
Other luxury touches include a fully equipped Gymnasium, a spa and massage room and another, indoor cinema, sure to be popular with the movie stars hopping aboard for a cruise. The swimming pool’s also bottom doubles as a helipad when required.
And now, you too can enjoy all the luxuries that Seven Seas has to offer. [Haute Living]
