Luxury motor yacht Azimut 80 was officialy launched at the end of June, on the occasion of the Azimut Benetti Yachting Gala. And, the worldwide premiere of the all-new 24-metre yacht will be during the next edition of the Festival de la Plaisance. All visitors of this year’s Cannes Boat Show will have a chance see Azimut’s first vessel over than 72 feet designed entirely at company’s headquarters in Avigliana, Italy.
Built in CE class “A”, this stunning yacht interprets contemporary lifestyle by providing exceptional comfort: four cabins, five bathrooms, spacious enough to accommodate 8 guests as well as a 42-square-metre flybridge, designed for maximum versatility of use. In addition, she boasts the innovative solutions introduced for the furnishings and the precise lighting design.
To be more accurate she has striking features such as an innovative profile, the rounded aft superstructures and the slender forward ones, the side windows with their characteristic elliptical shape – now considered a trendy feature, only interrupted by a well-integrated support. Sides and superstructures are elegantly connected by means of a fiberglass wing.
To light up the VIP stateroom two hatches were fitted forward on deck, while to light up the master stateroom six big portholes were fitted. The flying bridge appears as elegant open-air salon, which is very spacious and, thanks to the size of the aft area, offers a good cover to the cockpit turning it into a more comfortable living space. The flying bridge includes two opposite settees, a sunning area, tender davits aft and a forward central smaller deck used as service access from the galley and where a cabinet with grid, sink and fridge is fitted.
The interior is by Achille Salvagni Architetti while the the model design was in charge Stefano Righini. The yacht is powered by twin 1,140kW MAN engines giving a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.
In one sentence – extra-large spaces to be enjoyed until the evening, along with the brightness and the comfort of the internal spaces: this are the pride and joy of the new model.
